Can You Identify This Person?9 viewsThis photo was in a batch of papers I purchased and I was told that they came from the Smithwick estate sale. I was under the impression that this was Jack A. Smithwick. I have been advised by a family member that this is not Jack A. Smithwick. I would appreciate any information you can supply about the identity of this person.May 25, 2010

Jack K. Smithwick working in the garage89 viewsThis is a picture of Jack K. Smithwick working in his garage. You can clearly see 30+ Top-N-Bottom lures fully painted and rigged with hooks hanging from a wire above his head along the wall. At the level of the top of his head are several more strings of wire along the garage wall. They are covered with King Snipes AND what appears to be the S-100 Devels Horse. There are drawings on the wall of Stud Ducks, Gandy Dancers, My Pet and Walking Scorpions. Jack is seen in the picture stuffing Top-N- Bottom boxes with King Snipes.
So, apparently the Devels (or Devils) Horse lure was produced at the time they were using the Top-N-Bottom boxes. Perhaps at the same time as the Top-N-Bottom lures. Unless those 30+ fully rigged Top-N-Bottoms were culls left over from earlier years which I doubt as they are fully rigged.
