Top-N-Bottom Twister111 viewsThis is a really early Smithwick lure. It is a Top-N-Bottom series. It does not have a name stamped on it. The wooden body on this lure is 2 1/4" long. It has the broom handle tail. It uses screw eyes to attach the hooks instead of hook hangers used in later years. It has the split ring on the line tie and has a metal diving lip attached with screw. In Adrien Delbasty's book it is identified as a Twister model GS which means it comes with the clipped Eger brand spinner . The second successful lure that Jack Smithwick made. I believe the color is the #10 Black, White Rib.
