Devels Warhorse1 viewsThis is an interesting lure. It came out of Louisianna. It is stamped ... Devels Warhorse. The Warhorse usually comes with a ball weight on the rear. This one has the Smithwick large spinner on the rear. It also had a Barracuda spinner on the front with a red bead. I cleaned the lure and removed the barracuda spinner and red bead as they were in my opinion added after leaving the factory. Perhaps the rear spinner was also added and the ball weight removed. It is in the non cataloged color Gold/Black Shiner.Sep 03, 2010

The first one is 2 3/4" long and has the Carrot Top look with a slightly taperd head and a slightly concave front. The second one is 2 1/2" long with a rounded head. The next two are Devels Warhorse lures. The third one down is 2 3/4" long and has no taper on the head and a flat face. The last one is 2 1/4" long with a semi rounded head and a small flat face.
Rather curious that the Devils and the Devels had both the smaller size with the rounded May 18, 2008
